Special Hartford, Syracuse & Virginia Beach Shows With ASAP Grads!

A portion of the proceeds from these shows will benefit Armed Services Arts Partnership, a non-profit that directly empowers veterans and military family members to re-enter, find a voice, and thrive in their communities through the arts, including stand-up comedy. I will be bringing three graduates from their comedy bootcamps to give them an opportunity and to help them experience and share in a great night of comedy, both for the audience and veterans themselves. This is a special night not to be missed. I often say “laughter is the surprise recognition that we are not alone.”

Sharing My Thoughts About Armed Services Arts Partnership

ARMED SERVICES ARTS PROGRAM (ASAP) EMPOWERS VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES TO THRIVE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH ARTS CLASSES AND PERFORMANCES.

Here I am sharing my thoughts about the program and playing a small role as an advisor. This was filmed at The White House BTW. Pretty cool!

The Laugh Button – From Combat to Comedy: 10 Veterans turned stand-up comedians

The Laugh Button website put together a list of 10 comedians who have put their country before themselves and have since gone on to serve a second career on the stand-up comedy stage. I have great admiration for the veterans on this list. I’ve shared stages, travels & my life with many of them. Very cool to be included.

Armed Services Arts Partnership

Very honored to be able to play a small part in a really impressive organization.  If I’ve learned anything over the years, it’s important to be there for people.

Veterans Coming Home put together a short piece from a night I got to perform with some real American heroes now performing stand-up comedy thanks to The Armed Services Arts Partnership. I am on the ASAP advisory committee and have fortunately gotten to spend time with a few of the Comedy Bootcamp graduates. It’s a really special non-profit making positive things happen for our Veterans, Active Military & their families.

Face Of America Ride

Take a minute… only a minute. Watch this short video that really captures the bike ride I participated in this past weekend. At the 37 second mark you can see the smiles on all of our faces. Every once in a while I catch myself living in pure joy. That state is impossible to maintain, but I promise you that if you spend time with individuals that inspire, overcome & live beyond themselves, you will feel it. Life isn’t about you or me. It’s about us. I’m beyond happy to be part of the World T.E.A.M. Sports family. It’s life changing!
